The National Authority for Tunnels notes that within the framework of civil protection measures for passenger safety, Wednesday, corresponding to 7/19/2023, has been set as a date for conducting periodic tests on the fire fighting and smoke removal systems at the Adly Mansour interchange station, as well as at the Badr station of the light electric train (LRT), where stations will be closed The entire project from Adly Mansour Central Interchange Station to the Arts and Culture Station in the New Administrative Capital, starting from nine o’clock in the evening on Wednesday until five o’clock in the morning on Thursday corresponding to 7/20/2023 The Authority also notes that the time for the last train on this day towards the New Administrative Capital is 7:30 pm. And that the time of the last train on this day towards the new crossing is 7:45 pm. Also, the time for the last train on this day from the Arts and Culture station or the new transit station towards Adly Mansour station is 7:35 pm. Provided that the daily operating schedule of the light electric train (LRT) will return to its usual time, from six in the morning until eleven in the evening, on Thursday 20/7/2023. The authority calls on citizens living in these areas and passengers using the train not to worry or fear in the event of smoke or the smell of fire appearing during the times of conducting tests at these stations
