Then the Minister of Transport went to the "Al-Hamam Station" site, about 25 km after Burj Al-Arab station, which is a regional station that serves the city of Al-Hamam and a number of villages on the northern coast, as the station is distinguished by its proximity to the international coastal road, and then to the "Alamein Station", which is a station for the express train. , which serves the new city of El Alamein and its tourist traffic and the northwestern coast, in addition to the movement of goods transport to and from the port of El Alamein.
The Minister inspected a number of the bridges of the express electric train crossings at this distance with the main roads, as well as the implementation of the implementation of 2 track bridges at the Burj Al Arab and Al Hamam areas. With the importance of the project, which is considered the beginning of the fast electric train network system that is being implemented, which will represent a new civilized shift in the means of transportation in Egypt.
The Minister of Transport confirmed that all civil works and constructions are carried out by major Egyptian companies specialized in these fields, in addition to industrial works on roads intersecting with the train track, under the supervision of the general consultant of the French "Systra" project. The Minister of Transport also directed the need to coordinate with all concerned state agencies. And the governorates that the high-speed train passes through, in order to take into account the projects that are being implemented as well as those that are planned to be implemented, in order to work on the integration of different means of transportation and to avoid any conflict in the ongoing and planned national projects.

It is worth noting that the fast electric train network, which is being established, consists of 3 lines covering all parts of the Republic, with a total length of 2000 km. The length of the first line, Ain Sukhna, El Alamein, Matrouh, Fayoum, is 660 km. The design speed of the project trains is 250 km / h, and the operational speed of the trains is 230 km / h.
