1. Design and implementation of the second and third phases of the Alexandria Metro

   
   

   The second phase of the Abu Qir Metro: This phase extends for 31 km and includes 22 stations, starting from Al-Zaheria station to kilometer 21 on an elevated track. It then transitions to a surface track within the railway right-of-way until it reaches Al-Max station. From there, it continues on an elevated track to kilometer 21 via the Alexandria/Matrouh road. This phase is currently being studied by a French consultant. The third phase of the Abu Qir Metro: This phase is currently being planned and will extend from kilometer 21 to Borg El Arab Airport. Its aim is to connect Alexandria to Borg El Arab Airport and to facilitate passenger transfers with Line 1 of the high-speed rail network at Borg El Arab station.
