Implementation of the second, third and fourth phases of the fourth metro line

1. Phase 2 (Fustat – New Cairo)

   
   

   The route of the phase begins from Al-Fustat station with a length of 26.9 km and 21 stations (6 elevated - 15 underground) on Salah Salem Road in an underground route, then it intersects with the sixth metro line at Sayeda Aisha station, then Nasr Road and Nasr City on Anwar Al-Mufti Street to exchange service with the East Nile Monorail at Al-Tayaran station, then it continues on Hafez Ibrahim Street, then it continues to intersect with the Shinzo Abi axis, then east to Ahmed Al-Zomor Street and Al-Mithaq Street, then on a surface route above the Majid Al-Futtaim car bridge until it intersects with the Ring Road, then it extends on an elevated route in front of the Police Academy, then east on the Sadat axis, then it extends north on the Mustafa Kamel axis to end at the site of the heavy maintenance workshop for the fourth line north of the intersection of the Ring Road with the Cairo/Suez Road, the end of the second phase.

2. Phase 3 (Tree Gardens - Exclusive)

   
   

   It extends for 16.3 km and includes 10 stations, from Hadayek El Ashgar Station to Hosary Square in 6th of October City, and will interchange with the West Nile Monorail at Hosary Station. - Phase Four (New Cairo – Capital Airport Station):- It extends for 38.7 km and includes 8 stations, from the site of the major maintenance workshop for Line 4, north of the intersection of the Ring Road with the Cairo/Suez Road, to the New Administrative Capital, where it will interchange with the light rail at Capital Airport Station.
