1. Implementation of the second and third phases of the Alexandria Metro

   
   

   The second phase of the Alexandria Metro extends from El-Zaheria station to kilometer 21 along the Alexandria/Matrouh road, with a total length of 31 km. This phase includes an elevated track after El-Zaheria station, followed by a combined surface and elevated track within the railway right-of-way until reaching El-Max station. It then continues on an elevated track to kilometer 21 along the Alexandria/Matrouh road, comprising 21 stations (6 at ground level and 15 elevated). .

   The third phase of the Alexandria Metro (kilometer 21 on the Alexandria-Matrouh road) extends from kilometer 21 to Borg El Arab Airport, aiming to connect Alexandria to the airport and facilitate passenger transfers with Line 1 of the high-speed rail network at Borg El Arab station
