The phase extends for 19 km and includes 17 stations (16 underground - 1 surface) from the west of the Ring Road on the outskirts of 6th of October City, passing through the Grand Egyptian Museum station, then Shooting Square, then Al-Haram Street until Giza station to intersect with the second metro line, then it extends to intersect with the first metro line at King Saleh station, ending at Fustat station
