The second ,thred ,forth stage of the fourth line

1. Phase 2 (El Fostat – Naser City – New Cairo)

   
   

   • It extends for 33 km and has 22 stations in a tunnel path from Fustat station, then intersects with the sixth metro line at Sayeda Aisha station, then extends through Salah Salem Street, then Nasr Road to the Railway Club, the Arab Contractors Club and Al-Azhar University, then passes through Nasr City on Anwar Al-Mufti Street to exchange service with the East Nile Monorail at Hisham Barakat Station, then continues on Hafez Ibrahim Street in the southeast direction and continues to intersect with Shinzo Abe Axis, then east to Ahmed Al-Zomor Street and Al-Mithaq Street until it intersects with the Ring Road at the Security Complex and the Police Academy, then east on Sadat Axis after the Police Academy in an elevated path until the first gathering in New Cairo, passing by Youth Housing, Al-Yasmine and Al-Banfsaj, then heads north on Mohamed Naguib Axis to end at the site of the major overhaul workshop for the fourth line north of the intersection of the Ring Road with the Cairo/Suez Road. It is also planned to study the implementation of a future branch to Cairo International Airport to exchange service in the future with the fifth phase of the third metro line, which is currently being studied.

2. Phase 3 of Line 4 (Ashgar Gardens - Al Hosary)

   
   

   The implementation of the third phase of the line (Ashgar Gardens - Al-Hosary) is being studied, with a length of 16.3 km.

3. Phase 4 of Line 4 (Rehab - Capital Airport)

   
   

   The fourth phase of the line (Rehab - Capital Airport) is being studied, with a length of 38.7 km
