The fourth line of the metro



  1. , passing through the Grand Egyptian Museum station, then Remaya Square, then Haram Street, until Giza Station, to intersect with the second line of the metro, then it extends after that to intersect with the first line of the metro at the King Al-Saleh station, then it extends until the El-Oyoun station. To intersect with the sixth line (according to the route that was initially approved), then it extends to Salah Salem Street, then Al-Nasr Road, until the Arab Contractors Club, to end at the complex transportation center north of the intersection of the ring road with the Cairo/Suez Road, passing through Nasr City and Al-Rehab. It is expected to transport about 2 million passengers daily. The total length of the line is 42 km and includes 39 stations (37 tunnels - 2 surface) and is being implemented in two phases.

  2. Phase 1 (6th of October city – El Remaya square – El Haram – El Malel El Saleh – El Fostat)


    Its length is (19 km) and includes 17 stations. Its route extends from the “Hadayek Al Ashgar” station next to the workshop, west of the ring road on the border of 6th of October City, passing through the Grand Egyptian Museum, then Shooting Square, then Al Haram Street, until Giza Station, to achieve an exchange of service with the second line of the metro, then it crosses Down the Nile to the King Al-Saleh Metro Station, intersecting with the first line of the metro, arriving at Al-Fustat Station, the end of the first phase. Thus, this line connects Cairo Governorate, Giza Governorate, and 6th of October City

  3. Phase 2 (El Fostat – Naser City – New Cairo)


    It is 23 km long and includes 22 stations. It starts from Al-Fustat station on Amr Ibn Al-Aas Street in the Old Cairo area to Salah Salem Street until the Citadel, then it turns right to the Manshiyet Nasser area on Al-Nasr Road, then Al-Duwayqa area and the Arab area, and continues until the Arab Contractors Club and the Railway Club on Al-Nasr Road. Passing through Al-Azhar University, it then turns right to Al-Shaheed Axis, then turns left to Mustafa Al-Nahhas Street to intersect with Al-Tayaran Street, Abbas Al-Akkad Street, Makram Ebeid Street, and Hassan Al-Mamoun Street. It continues on Mustafa Al-Nahhas Street until its end at Al-Tabba area, then it turns right through Mahdi Arafa Street to reach Al-Mithaq Street. (Ahmed Al-Zumar) in the 10th district of Nasr City and continues until Zahraa Nasr City to intersect with the ring road and cross it at the police academy at the entrance to the First Settlement to turn left into Mustafa Kamel axis next to Al-Rehab City and continue until the Egypt-Suez Desert Road at the English School in Cairo to reach the workshop area east The ring road and the northern Egypt-Suez Desert Road
