The first phase of the fourth metro line

   The fourth line is considered the basis for connecting the cities of 6th of October and New Cairo, as the route of the first phase of the fourth line extends from the west of the ring road on the borders of 6th of October city, passing through the Grand Egyptian Museum station, then Al-Remaya Square, then Al-Haram Street, until the Giza station, to intersect with the second line of the metro, then it extends. After that, it intersects with the first line of the metro at King Al-Saleh station, and the first stage of the line ends at Al-Fustat station. The route of the second stage of the line begins from Al-Fustat station, then the route extends through the Al-Ayoun stream, then intersects with the sixth line at Al-Sayyeda Aisha station (according to the route that was approved), then it extends. The path passes through Salah Salem Street, then Al-Nasr Road, until the Arab Contractors Club, then through Nasr City, then to New Cairo, ending at the complex transportation center north of the intersection of the ring road with the Cairo/Suez Road.October The totalof length of the line is 46 km and includes 39 stations (37 tunnels - 1 surface - 3 overhead).City

2. Phase 1 (6th of October city – El Remaya square – El Haram – El Malel El Saleh – El Fostat)

   
   

   Its length is (19 km) and includes 17 stations. Its route extends from the “Hadayek Al Ashgar” station next to the workshop, west of the ring road on the border of 6th of October City, passing through the Grand Egyptian Museum, then Shooting Square, then Al Haram Street, until Giza Station, to achieve an exchange of service with the second line of the metro, then it crosses Down the Nile to the King Al-Saleh Metro Station, intersecting with the first line of the metro, arriving at Al-Fustat Station, the end of the first phase. Thus, this line connects Cairo Governorate, Giza Governorate, and 6th It is being studied to extend it south to Al-Firdaus City, with a length of 4 km and 2 elevated stations, and it will be extended in the future to Al-Hosary Square in 6th of October City.
