Monorail of east Nile

1. Construction, operation and maintenance of Monorail east of nile

   
   

   The East Nile and West Nile monorail project is being implemented for the first time in the Arab Republic of Egypt, as it represents a new technological leap in the field of rail transport by electric traction, which is considered one of the safe, fast and non-polluting mass transportation. The monorail line extends east of the Nile with a length of 56.5 km and a number of 22 stations.

2. The objective of the implementation of the monorail line project east of nile

   
   

   Connecting the Greater Cairo Region with the new urban areas in the east (New Cairo - the Administrative Capital...etc).
   Providing a fast, modern, safe and environmentally friendly means of transportation for passengers.
   Contributing to sustainable development east and west of the Nile to achieve Egypt’s 2030 vision, as the transport system is one of the arteries of urban and economic development.
   The East Nile Monorail line serves the areas of Nasr City, New Cairo and the Administrative Capital, as it will facilitate the movement of employees and expatriates from Cairo and Giza to New Cairo and the Administrative Capital, as it connects to the third metro line at the stadium station.
   The economic return as a result of saving fuel consumption, reducing environmental pollution rates, reducing traffic jams on main axes and streets, and attracting a percentage of passengers to use this method instead of using private cars.
   Creating direct and indirect job opportunities during implementation and permanent job opportunities in the operational stage.

   The East Nile Monorail project extends from the stadium station in Nasr City to the New Administrative Capital with a length of 56.5 km and includes (22) stations to serve the areas of Nasr City, New Cairo and the Administrative Capital, as the East Nile Monorail alignment extends in the center of New Cairo near the (One Ninety project ) One of the most important real estate projects in New Cairo, which is being implemented by Landmark Company (LMD), the leading company in the field of real estate development and investment, and the Ministry of Transport’s belief in the need for integration between the public and private sectors. For the first time, the name of this huge real estate project (One Ninety) was named after one East Nile Monorail Project Stations
   A special entrance will be established from the monorail station to the inside of the project for the entry and exit of the visitors, which gives the project a great competitive advantage and reflects the scale of development and the use of modern technology in it, and what it will provide for its visitors of a unique means of transportation that provides all the elements of comfort and safety away from traffic jam.
