Lieutenant General Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir - Minister of Transport continued his inspection tours to follow up on the projects being implemented. The tour began with an inspection of October Gardens station, through which service will be exchanged between the first and second lines. The Minister was informed of the progress in the implementation rates of the remaining stations of the line and reviewed the timetable for the duration of their implementation. The Minister also directed the intensification of work around the clock, especially with the importance of the project, which will represent a huge qualitative leap in the means of green, sustainable, environmentally friendly public transportation in Egypt. During his tour, the Minister also inspected the sectors of the route in this distance and its intersection with various roads such as (the Central and Regional Ring Road), and the Minister continued. During his tour, the Minister of Transport confirmed in press statements on the sidelines of his tour that this line is part of the logistical development corridor (Cairo/Aswan/Abu Simbel), one of whose goals is to create a development corridor west of the Western Upper Egypt Desert Road and link the agricultural production areas in Toshka, west of Aswan, and west of Minya.
