During his tour, the Minister of Transport followed the progress of works at El Alamein Station, which is a station for the express train, and serves the new city of El Alamein and its tourist movement and the northwestern coast, as well as the progress of works at Al-Hammam station, which is a regional station that will serve the city of Al-Hammam and a number of villages on the northern coast, as the station is distinguished by its proximity From the international coastal road, in addition to Burj Al Arab station, where this station will serve in its current location the old city of Burj Al Arab and the new city, as well as the industrial zone close to the international coastal road, and it is a station for the express train and one of the largest stations on the line, as it consists of 6 railways.
Then the Minister of Transport inspected the ongoing works at Al-Amriya Station, which is a fast train station, near which there is a yard for exchange with the current diesel train to serve the Alexandria port and the work of transporting goods. It contains a center for internal and external transportation for Alexandria Governorate, as this station includes a number of types of transportation (including internal public transportation, Alexandria taxi, and the bus stop).
The minister also continued the completion of the foundation layers of the train bridge in some sectors, in preparation for handing them over to the Siemens Global Alliance, Orascom and the Arab Contractors, so that the work of the second phase, which includes (basalt mattresses, the installation of rails and electric cantilever columns), will be started, after which the electromechanical works will be implemented in the third phase, as well as the progress of follow-up. Works in a number of industrial works, such as car bridges, where the Wadi al-Natrun-Alamein bridge has been completed, and the bridges (the brigadier general, Muhammad Naguib base, and Burj al-Arab - Burj al-Arab airport - the western Quos axis - the outskirts city - Burj al-Arab cars) are underway. During his tour, the Minister of Transport confirmed that the electric express train is a development train that will contribute to creating thousands of job opportunities for young people, reducing traffic congestion, reducing accidents, achieving a higher level of safety for passengers and a better impact on the environment. Development arteries that will serve the new and existing agricultural, urban and industrial areas such as the industrial areas in (Helwan, 15th of May, Burj Al Arab, 6th of October, New Minya, New Assiut and other industrial areas).

It is worth noting that the express train network consists of 4 lines with a total length of 2250 km. The first line of the express train network (Sukhna / El Alamein / Matrouh) enters the Sukhna / Dekheila logistics corridor. The length of the line is 675 km, with 21 stations and 1 control center. It consists of 15 express trains, 34 regional trains, 14 freight tractors.
