The minister also inspected the ongoing works at the stations of Sidi Abdel Rahman, El Dabaa and Ras El Hekma, and these stations are located in the track of the express train on the international coastal road. Where these stations are located in the middle of these cities, in order to serve the residents, workers and visitors to them, and the passage of the express train through them represents a positive incentive for the demand for them, whether to work in them, or for tourism, or to live in them, or to establish investment projects that need manpower and a safe means of transportation. During his tour at this distance, the Minister of Transport also followed up the work of implementing a number of car bridges that are located at the intersections of the express electric train track with the main roads. The importance of the project, which is considered the beginning of the fast electric train network system that is being implemented, and which will represent a new civilized shift in the means of transportation in Egypt. The movement of passengers from the main entrance of each station until reaching the ticket halls, movement between the platforms and the availability of elevators to facilitate the movement of passengers, as well as the optimal administrative and investment utilization plan for all spaces in the various stations In addition to following up on the progress of the implementation of the project track and what it includes of industrial works such as track bridges, car bridges, tunnels, and protection works from the dangers of floods, where the alliance (Siemens / Orascom / Arab Contractors) delivered 50 km within the scope of the capital station, in the distance from 40 km to km 90 And the works of the second phase, which includes (basalt brushes, installation of rails and electric cantilever columns) have begun, after which the electromechanical works will be carried out in the third phase. It has also been confirmed that another 142 km of the track is ready to be handed over to the alliance (Siemens / Orascom / Arab Contractors) with a distance of 55 km. Within the scope of the Sadat and Wadi El-Natrun stations, and 87 km in the distance from El Alamein towards Fuka, in order for the coalition to start the work of the second phase (laying basalt and installing rails and electric poles). During his tour, the Minister of Transport stressed that the electric express train is a development train that will contribute to creating thousands of job opportunities for young people, reducing traffic congestion, reducing accidents, achieving a higher level of safety for passengers and a better impact on the environment. The first line of the express train network (Sukhna / El Alamein / Matrouh) enters the Sukhna / Dekheila logistics corridor. The length of the line is 675 km, with 21 stations and 1 control center. It consists of 15 express trains, 34 regional trains, and 14 freight tractors.
