Minister: 1. Whereas, the Minister continued the works of implementing the road bridge and the construction of stations at this distance, which includes 5 stations out of a total of 36 stations that make up the number of stations of the second line of the express train network, with 2 stations for the express train (Assiut and Sohag) and 3 stations for regional trains (Abu Tig). booty and two sides) During the tour, the Minister of Transport directed to intensify work and work around the clock to complete the project according to the planned schedule, indicating that it was taken into account that the train route be near the western road campus, and that the location of the stations be close to roads, residential places, and intersection areas with the Nile axes, to serve the residents of the Upper Egypt governorates. Also, all approaches to the stations should be free and serve all directions of traffic, in order to facilitate travelers to reach the stations from all directions and from all nearby cities and villages. In a press statement on the sidelines of the tour, the Minister of Transport confirmed that the implementation of dirt bridges, bridges, industrial works for the track, stations and fences is carried out by major Egyptian companies specialized in these fields, in addition to industrial works on the roads intersecting with the train track.
